सूर्य की महादशा में सूर्य की अन्तर्दशा में राजा से अधिक यश मिले, धनागम हो, पर्वतों और वनों में रहे, ज्वर और उष्णता के रोग हों, पिता के वियोग का भय हो। सूर्य अच्छा हो तो अच्छा फल लीजिये। सूर्य दुर्बल या दुःस्थान में हो तो अनिष्ट फल लीजिये।
