Mahādaśā
The twenty-year chapter. Venus rules the urinary and reproductive system. A long Venus period is the textbook backdrop for issues that land in exactly that area.
कोऽहम् ?·Ko'ham — Who Am I · Why VedicPupil
The story of an afternoon in the hills above Dehradun, a wooden room, a stranger who named my daśā in fifteen seconds, and the six-year fire that has not gone out.

I had gone to Dehradun to think about leaving Ahmedabad. Not dramatically — just quietly, the way you start to wonder whether a city is still the right one for you. I had been carrying that thought for months, and the hills felt like the kind of place where you could put it down and look at it from a distance.
On one of those afternoons, walking through town, I ran into my school Sanskrit teacher — Arvind Narayan Mishra sir. Twenty-three years since I had last seen him. We talked for a long time — the way you do when a thread you did not know was still alive walks up to you in daylight. Before we parted, he said there was someone in the hills I should meet.
His name was Ajay Parmar.
Ajay sir lived in a very large bungalow in the hills above Dehradun. The house was unusual — one side of it hung out over the slope, propped on tall pillars, so that part of the building seemed to lean toward the valley rather than sit on it. He took me into a small wooden room on the ground floor. There was a staircase going up from one corner of that room. I asked him about it.
He smiled and said: those are mine. I use them when I want to connect with souls.
It sounded like a line from a film. But the energy in that room was not a line from a film. You could feel it. We sat down. He looked at me for a few seconds without saying anything.
Then he asked, in the most ordinary tone in the world, if I was in pain. He specified the place: a urinary tract infection. Was that what I was feeling?
I had not told a single person. It had started the day before, in Ahmedabad. No one in Dehradun knew. The room had been empty of any clue. He had read me from the chair across the table, in the space of a breath.
I said yes. Quietly.
He nodded and then, without theatrics, explained the logic. Venus mahādaśā. Ketu antardaśā. The lord of the genitourinary system was running its twenty-year chapter, and the planet of sudden inflammation had just begun its sub-period inside it. That is the textbook signature, he said.
He read for a few more minutes — accurate, specific, unhurried — and then he said something that I am still, six years later, working out the meaning of:
You are a saint. Jupiter sits on your ascendant. This is not your normal life. From here on, you will be in astrology research. Start with Laghu Parāśarī, if you find any of this interesting.
I never went back to that wooden room. I never saw Ajay sir again. But the afternoon set something on fire that has not, since then, gone out.
I went home. I watched everything I could find on YouTube — channel after channel, hour after hour. Then I started reading books. It did not feel like learning new material. It felt like remembering. Three years became six. The fire is still on. This site is what it built.
For the reader who knows Jyotiṣa — the exact chain that was active when Ajay sir read me.
The twenty-year chapter. Venus rules the urinary and reproductive system. A long Venus period is the textbook backdrop for issues that land in exactly that area.
Ketu is fire without form — sudden, hidden, inflammatory. Venus organ + Ketu inflammation = textbook UTI signature.
The Moon-PD had begun nine days before I met him. Inside Venus / Ketu, this is the window where pain becomes conscious, naming becomes possible.
Rāhu is the planet of strange encounters — foreign meetings, things that arrive uninvited. Less than 96 hours old when I walked into that wooden room.
In December 2024, in Ayodhyā, I received dīkṣā in the Vaiṣṇava paramparā of Pujya Sri Nritya Gopal Das ji Maharaj — Peethādhīśvara of Maṇi Rām Dās Ki Chāvani, President of the Shri Rām Janmabhūmi Tīrtha Kṣetra Trust. He was personally present.

The daśā chain on that morning was Sun → Mercury → Venus → Jupiter — the four planets of dharma, mantra, soul, and guru, sub-dividing each other in that exact order. The chart did not say approximately December 2024. It said this morning, in this window.
The mantra I received is a sacred Rām-mantra. I have chanted it every day since.
Why this is on the page: receiving dīkṣā makes me a śiṣya with a path — and a quiet responsibility to use what I have been given for something other than commerce. This is the actual reason VedicPupil refuses paid remedies, gemstone sales, and fee-for-puja arrangements. Not as a marketing position. As a vow.
I feel like I owe my life to Sanātana Dharma and my Shri Rām.

Every astrology app on the internet asks you for your birth date and gives you a sun sign. Your sun sign is one variable in a twelve-house system with twenty-seven nakshatras and a hundred-and-twenty-year Vimśottarī timing cycle.
Four answers came back, and they have held under every chart I have read since:
Twelve × twelve × nine × seven = 9,072 unique combinations. The 4-Axis Method is what came out of taking that seriously.
