If Mars and Mercury be together, the person born in the Yoga will be a dealer in herbs, plants, barks, oils and drugs. He will be clever in boxing. When Mars is in conjunction with Jupiter, the person born will be a leader of a city, or a king or a wealthy Brahmin. The effect of Venus and Mars being together at a birth will be that the person born will be a shepherd, a wrestler, skilful, addicted to other people's wives, or a gambler. If Mars be in conjunction with Saturn at the birth of a person, he will be miserable, untruthful and despised by all.

यदि मंगल और बुध एक साथ हों तो मूल (जड़ वाले पदार्थ — जड़ी-बूटी, पौधे, वृक्ष, वृक्ष की छाल आदि), तेल, घी, चिकने पदार्थ, दवा आदि के व्यापार से लाभ होता है, और जातक बाहु से युद्ध करने वाला भी होता है। यदि मंगल और बृहस्पति एक साथ हों तो किसी नगरी का अध्यक्ष हो, या राजा हो, या धनवान् ब्राह्मण हो। यदि मंगल और शुक्र एक साथ हों तो गोप (गौओं का मालिक), पहलवान, दूसरे की स्त्रियों में रत, जुआ खेलने वाला और चतुर होता है। यदि मंगल और शनि साथ हों तो दुःखी, निन्दित, झूठी प्रतिज्ञा वाला — अर्थात् झूठ बोलने वाला होता है।
