If the lord of the 2nd house be posited in the Lagna and benefics occupy the 2nd house, the person concerned will be endowed with the best qualities, have a prosperous family, will be rich, affable, and far-sighted. If the planet owning the 2nd Bhava be connected with the Sun (vide XV-30, supra), the native will utilize his knowledge and wealth for the good of humanity. If the association of the said Lord is with Saturn, the person's learning will be very insignificant and of a low order.

यदि द्वितीयेश लग्न में हो और शुभग्रह दूसरे में हों, तो जातक सर्व उत्कृष्ट गुणों वाला, धनी, सुन्दर मुख वाला, दूरदर्शी और सत्कुटुम्ब वाला होता है। यदि धनेश का सूर्य से सम्बन्ध हो तो जातक लोक का उपकार करने वाला, विद्वान् और धनवान होगा। यदि धनेश का शनि से सम्बन्ध हो तो जातक की विद्या क्षुद्र (छोटे प्रकार की) और अल्प होगी।
