If the planet associated be Jupiter, the person concerned will become proficient in the sacred scriptures and code of laws; if it be Mercury, he will be clever in politics; if Venus, he will be an expert in amorous topics; if the Moon, he will know something of the arts; if Mars, he will be an adept in works involving hard labour and will be a back-biter; if Rahu, he will be lisping or stammering (will speak indistinctly); if Ketu, he will stammer and utter falsehoods. If malefics occupy the 2nd house, the person concerned will be a fool and without wealth.

यदि धनेश का बृहस्पति से सम्बन्ध हो तो जातक वेद और धर्मशास्त्र में विद्वान होता है। यदि बुध से सम्बन्ध हो तो अर्थशास्त्र में पटु हो। यदि शुक्र से सम्बन्ध हो तो शृंगार सम्बन्धी शास्त्र में (साहित्य, कामशास्त्र इत्यादि) पटु हो; और चन्द्रमा का द्वितीयेश से सम्बन्ध हो तो किसी-किसी कला में कुशल हो; यदि मंगल से सम्बन्ध हो तो क्रूर कलाओं में विद्वान् हो और जातक चुगलखोर भी हो। यदि राहु द्वितीय स्थान में स्थित हो (या द्वितीयेश के साथ हो) तो स्पष्ट उच्चारण न करने वाला हो, और यदि केतु द्वितीय में हो तो हकलावे या असत्य वचन बोलने वाला हो। यदि धन-स्थान में पाप-ग्रह हो तो मनुष्य मूर्ख और निर्धन होता है।
