The man born in the Asura Yoga will spoil others' work and will become a tale-bearer. He will be intent on securing his own interests. He will be poor and have forbidden cravings. He will do mean acts and be troubled by the effects of his own disastrous doings.

यदि अष्टम स्थान में शुभ ग्रह हों या शुभ ग्रह इस स्थान को देखते हों और अष्टमेश स्वराशि, उच्चराशि का अस्तंगत न होकर उत्तम स्थान में बैठा हो तो आसुर योग होता है। इसका फल निकृष्ट है। ऐसा आदमी स्वार्थी, कुकर्मी, दरिद्री, दुराग्रही (बुरी तरह ज़िद करने वाला), चुग़लखोर और दूसरों का काम बिगाड़ने वाला होता है। अपने किये हुए दुष्ट कार्यों के परिणाम स्वरूप ऐसा मनुष्य स्वयं हानि और दुःख उठाता है।
