विवाऽर्कशुक्रौ पितृमातृसंज्ञितौ शनैश्चरेन्दू निशि तद्विपर्ययात् ।
पितृव्यमातृष्वसृसंज्ञितौ च तावथौजयुग्मर्क्षगतौ तयोः शुभौ

The Sun and Venus are termed father and mother respectively of the seed sown during the day; Saturn and the Moon during the night. Failing to play the role of parents each of these pairs of planets get the designation of paternal uncle and maternal aunt.
