But if there be no planet in the 8th bhava, the death of the person concerned should be divined by means of the planet occupying the Lagna. The event will happen during the dasa of the last-mentioned planet when Saturn arrives in its progress through the orbit at the Lagna or the 8th bhava. If the lords of the 1st and the 8th bhavas be in conjunction with other planets, then find out which of the associated planets is weak; and it is during the dasa and bhukti of this weak planet that the astrologer should declare as probable the death of the person concerned.
