Leaving out the figures indicating the number of signs in the bhavas to be mentioned below, multiply the degrees, minutes, etc. in each, converted into minutes, by the figure in Virupas representing the benefic aspect and divide the products by 60 and again by 200. The results arrived at in respect to the 5th, the 3rd, the 7th, the 1st and the 4th bhavas respectively represent the number of sons, brothers, wives, menials whether male or female, and friends that the owner of the horoscope is to have. The figures got similarly from malefic aspect on the several bhavas above-mentioned indicate the number of sons and others that will be lost.
