If a person be born under the star Hasta, he will be devoted to love and to virtue, befriend the learned and live in opulence; if in Chittra, he will be very wary, good-natured, and endowed with a high sense of honor, though longing for other men's wives; if in Swati, he will try to please Gods and Brahmins, devote himself to enjoyments and will have much wealth but little intelligence; if in Vishakha, he will be proud, but uxorious, overcome his enemies and betray much irritability.
