The Sun, Venus, Mars, Saturn, the Moon, Mercury and Jupiter are respectively the lords of the quarters East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, Northwest, North and Northeast respectively. The lords of the six seasons reckoning from Vasantha are Venus, Mars, the Moon, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn according to the Drekkanas or the third portions of a sign presided over by them.
