If a birth takes place during the night in the light half of the month (Suklapaksha) or during the day in the dark half of the month (Krishnapaksha), the Moon at the time though occupying the 6th or the 8th place from the Lagna, if aspected by benefic as well as malefic planets protects the newborn infant very like a father under all afflictions.
