If the Ashtakavarga rekha number is multiplied by the Yoga Pinda and the product is divided by 12, the remainder will denote the rasi through which, or through whose trikona rasis, the transit of Saturn will cause harm or unfavourable effects. Death of the father may be predicted if the Dasa prevailing at that time be unfavourable. If the Dasa be favourable, the father will face only adverse effects (like serious illness).

तत्‌ त्रिकोणर्क्षकं वापि पितृकष्टं तदा वदेत्‌ । रिष्टप्रददशायां तु मरणं कष्टमन्यदा । । 11 । । यदि उस समय पिता को अरिष्ट कारक दशा भी चल रही हो तो मृत्यु भी सम्भव है, अन्यथा कष्ट ही होता है ।
