If Jupiter occupies the sign owned by the Moon (i.e., Cancer), the person born will possess gems, sons, wealth, wives, influence, a good intellect and will command all comforts. A person born with Jupiter in sign Leo will be a head of an army besides what has been said for a person born with Jupiter in Cancer. If Jupiter should be in his own sign, the person concerned will either be a king or his minister or a commander of forces, or possess immense wealth. The effect of a person's birth with Jupiter in Aquarius will be similar to that described for one born with Jupiter in Cancer. If, at a birth, Jupiter should occupy Makara, the person concerned will be base, poor and unhappy.

यदि गुरु चन्द्र की राशि (अर्थात् कर्क) में हो, तो जन्म लेने वाला व्यक्ति रत्नों, सन्तानों, धन, पत्नियों, प्रभाव, उत्तम बुद्धि से सम्पन्न होगा और सभी सुखों का स्वामी होगा। गुरु के सिंह में होने पर जन्म लेने वाला व्यक्ति, जो गुरु के कर्क में होने पर के लिए कहा गया है उसके अतिरिक्त, सेनापति भी होगा। यदि गुरु अपनी राशि में हो, तो सम्बन्धित व्यक्ति राजा अथवा मन्त्री अथवा सेनापति होगा, अथवा अपार धन का स्वामी होगा। गुरु के कुम्भ में होने पर जन्म-फल कर्क में होने पर के समान ही होगा। यदि जन्म-समय में गुरु मकर में हो, तो सम्बन्धित व्यक्ति नीच, निर्धन और दुखी होगा।
