It will be a building spoiled by fire when Mars is powerful; a new building, when the Moon is in strength; a structure abounding in timber but flimsy, when the Sun is powerful; an edifice built by the combination of several artisans, when Mercury is strong. When Venus is predominant, the chamber will be lovely, possessing works of art and quite new. It will be strong and durable when Jupiter is powerful. The astrologer may guess the structure, in the manner indicated, of other houses beginning with those which are immediately around the lying-in-chamber by means of the planets in the zodiacal circle.

शनि बलवान हो तो प्रसव-कक्ष पुराना किन्तु मरम्मत किया हुआ होगा। मंगल बली हो तो अग्नि से क्षतिग्रस्त भवन; चन्द्र बली हो तो नवनिर्मित; सूर्य बली हो तो काठ-बहुल किन्तु कमज़ोर भवन; बुध बली हो तो अनेक शिल्पकारों द्वारा बना भवन। शुक्र बली हो तो प्रसव-कक्ष सुन्दर, कलायुक्त और एकदम नया होगा। गुरु बली हो तो मज़बूत और टिकाऊ। ज्योतिषी इसी प्रकार प्रसव-कक्ष के आसपास के अन्य भवनों का स्वभाव भी राशिचक्र के ग्रहों से जान सकता है।
