Whatever substance is mentioned as belonging to a planet in the Chapter on 'Definitions' (Ch. II — 12), and whatever calling is declared appropriate to a planet in the Chapter on 'Profession' (Ch. X — 1), whatever has been spoken of as the effect of the presence of planets in the several bhavas (Ch. XVIII and XX) and of their being associated with (Ch. XVII) or aspected by (Ch. XIX) other planets and of their combinations or yogas (except Nabhasa yogas) — all these must be duly assigned to the planets concerned in their respective dasas.

'परिभाषा' अध्याय (अ॰ II — 12) में जो भी द्रव्य ग्रह से सम्बन्धित बताया गया है, और 'व्यवसाय' अध्याय (अ॰ X — 1) में जो भी आजीविका ग्रह के लिए उपयुक्त घोषित की गई है, और जो विभिन्न भावों में ग्रहों की स्थिति के फल बताए गए हैं (अ॰ XVIII और XX), तथा अन्य ग्रहों के साथ उनकी युति (अ॰ XVII) या दृष्टि (अ॰ XIX) और उनके योगों (नाभस योगों को छोड़कर) के फल — ये सब उनकी अपनी-अपनी दशाओं में सम्बन्धित ग्रहों के लिए यथोचित आरोपित किए जाने चाहिए।
