During the dasa periods of the several planets, the benefic effects mentioned will happen if the planet be auspiciously placed; if otherwise, the malefic effects will come to pass. If the planet be of a mixed nature (so far as his position in the horoscope is concerned), the effects will also be mixed. The effects of the Lagna dasa will be similar to those of its lord.
