During the dasa of Saturn, when he is auspicious, there will be the acquisition of asses, camels, hawks and the like, and she-buffaloes to the person concerned. He will get the company of aged women. He will be the head man or chief of a class of persons, of a village or a town and will be honoured as such. He will get grain of inferior quality. If Saturn be inauspicious, the person will suffer from phlegmatic and windy complaints; he will be extremely jealous, angry, distracted in mind and unclean. He will suffer calamities and be much fatigued. He will get reproaches from his servants, children and wife and will suffer loss of limbs.

शनि की दशा में, जब वह शुभ हो, जातक को गधे, ऊँट, बाज इत्यादि तथा भैंसों की प्राप्ति होगी। उसे वृद्ध स्त्रियों का साथ मिलेगा। वह किसी वर्ग का, गाँव या नगर का मुखिया अथवा प्रधान होगा और उसी रूप में सम्मानित होगा। उसे निम्न श्रेणी का अन्न प्राप्त होगा। यदि शनि अशुभ हो, तो जातक कफ और वात सम्बन्धी रोगों से पीड़ित होगा; वह अत्यन्त ईर्ष्यालु, क्रोधी, मानसिक रूप से विक्षुब्ध और अशुद्ध होगा। वह विपदाओं से ग्रस्त और अत्यन्त थका हुआ होगा। उसे अपने सेवकों, सन्तानों और पत्नी से उपालम्भ मिलेंगे और अंग-हानि का सामना करेगा।
