When Venus is auspicious, the person concerned will enjoy during his dasa good music, various kinds of pleasures, fragrant perfumes, good food and drinks, fine clothes, women, jewels and splendour which are all material to kindle sexual appetite; he will acquire knowledge. His desired objects will be fulfilled and he gets many friends. He will become skilled in trade and agriculture. He will be the recipient of a hidden treasure and will also acquire wealth. If Venus be inauspicious, the person will, during the dasa of Venus, set himself against a host of people; against the king, hunters and unrighteous men, and will have much suffering through his friends.

जब शुक्र शुभ हो, जातक अपनी दशा में मधुर संगीत, विविध प्रकार के सुख, सुगन्धित द्रव्य, उत्तम आहार-पान, सुन्दर वस्त्र, स्त्रियाँ, रत्न और वैभव — जो सब काम-वासना को उद्दीप्त करने वाले हैं — का उपभोग करेगा; वह विद्या अर्जित करेगा। उसके अभीष्ट कार्य पूर्ण होंगे और उसे अनेक मित्र मिलेंगे। वह वाणिज्य और कृषि में निपुण होगा। उसे गुप्त निधि की प्राप्ति होगी और वह धन भी अर्जित करेगा। यदि शुक्र अशुभ हो, तो जातक शुक्र की दशा में स्वयं को अनेक लोगों के विरुद्ध खड़ा करेगा; राजा, शिकारियों और अधार्मिक लोगों के विरुद्ध, और अपने मित्रों से बहुत कष्ट सहेगा।
