The person at whose birth the Moon is in Libra will be intent in worshipping the Gods, the Brahmins and holy men, will be learned, will be pure (i.e., not covet other people's wealth), will be henpecked, will be tall in stature, will have a prominent nose, and a lean and frail body, will be wandering, will have always money with him, will be deficient of a limb, will be clever in trading, will have a God's name as his second name, will be sickly and will help his relations — but only to be reviled and shunned by them.

जिसके जन्म पर चन्द्र तुला में हो, वह देवताओं, ब्राह्मणों और साधु-पुरुषों की पूजा में लीन रहेगा, विद्वान होगा, पवित्र (अर्थात् अन्यों के धन की कामना न करने वाला), स्त्री-वशीभूत, लम्बे क़द वाला, ऊँची नाक और दुबले-पतले शरीर वाला, भ्रमणशील, सदा धन-युक्त, किसी अंग में हीन, व्यापार में चतुर, अपने द्वितीय नाम के रूप में देवता का नाम रखने वाला, रोगी, और अपने स्वजनों की सहायता करेगा — किन्तु केवल उनसे निन्दा और तिरस्कार पाने के लिए।
