Jeevasarman lays down in accordance with his own doctrine that the (maximum) period of life given by each planet is 1/7th of the maximum aggregate period (120 years and 5 days). The declaration of Satya — that the Ayurdaya of the planet corresponds in years to the number of the sign whose Navamsa is occupied by the planet — is in agreement with the views of the majority of astrological authorities (vide the next sloka).

जीवशर्मन अपने मत के अनुसार घोषित करते हैं कि प्रत्येक ग्रह की आयु अधिकतम कुल आयु (120 वर्ष और 5 दिन) के 1/7 भाग के बराबर है। सत्याचार्य की घोषणा — कि किसी ग्रह का आयुदाय उस राशि की संख्या के बराबर वर्षों में है जिसका नवांश ग्रह ने ग्रहण किया है — बहुसंख्य ज्योतिषीय प्राधिकारियों के मतों से सहमत है।
