Riktā tithis (4-9-14) and Amāvāsyā are avoided for most events. Pūrṇimā and Dvitīyā favour beginnings.
Each weekday's ruling planet shapes the day's nature — Jupiter's day for learning, Friday for marriage, Wednesday for trade.
The Moon's 27 mansions classify days as fixed, movable, mixed, or fierce — each fits different actions.
Of 27 yogas, nine are inauspicious (Vyatīpāta, Vaidhṛti, etc.). The calculator filters them automatically.
Bhadrā / Viṣṭi Karaṇa is rejected universally — its presence on a day strikes out marriage, griha pravesh, business openings.
For c-section and any Lagna-sensitive event, the rising sign at the chosen moment becomes the chart's foundation.
