जिनके जन्म के समय धनु लग्न हो या धनु राशि में चन्द्रमा हो उनकी नाक, कान, चेहरे और कण्ठ बड़े होते हैं। ऐसे व्यक्ति किसी न किसी कार्य में लगे रहते हैं अर्थात् निठल्ले नहीं बैठते। बोलने में बहुत प्रगल्भ और त्यागी होते हैं। इनका कद बहुत ऊँचा नहीं होता या कुछ झुक कर चलते हैं। ये लोग साहसी होते हैं और अपने शत्रुओं को पछाड़ देते हैं। ये लोग बलाढ्य और राजा के प्यारे भी होते हैं। ऐसे व्यक्ति को समझा कर ही अपने वश्य में किया जा सकता है — उनसे कोई काम कराना हो तो वश करने के जो चार साधन (साम, दान, दण्ड, भेद) हैं उनमें से केवल 'साम' से उनसे कार्य कराया जा सकता है।
