A scion of a royal family will become a King if at his birth Venus is aspected by Jupiter. Jupiter occupying a Rasi other than Makara identical with the Lagna will usher a King endowed with elephants in rut. The lord of the Lagna occupying a Kendra in full strength, will cause a ruler of men to be born. Mercury in the above position aspected by Jupiter will usher into the world a person whose orders will be obeyed by Kings.

इस श्लोक में चार योग बताए हैं। चारों पृथक्-पृथक् हैं — (क) यदि जातक राजवंश में उत्पन्न हुआ हो और शुक्र को बृहस्पति देखता हो तो मनुष्य राजा होता है। (ख) यदि मकर राशि के अलावा अन्य किसी राशि में स्थित होकर बृहस्पति लग्न में हो तो यह उत्तम राजयोग है। (ग) यदि लग्नेश बलवान् होकर केन्द्र में हो तो यह अकेला प्रबल योग है। (घ) जिसकी जन्म कुण्डली में बुध को बृहस्पति देखता है उसकी सलाह को महाराजा भी मानते हैं।
