If the 5th bhava be a sign owned by Saturn or Mercury and is aspected by or associated with Mandi or Saturn, the person concerned will have a son by adoption. The same will be the result when the lord of the 5th house is weak and is not connected in any way with the lords of the 1st and the 7th houses.

नीचे दो योग दिये जाते हैं। इन दोनों योगों में से यदि कोई योग हो तो जातक के औरस पुत्र नहीं होते किन्तु वह लड़का गोद लेता है। अपने शरीर से, अपनी भार्या में जो पुत्र होता है वह औरस कहलाता है। (१) यदि पंचम भाव पर मिथुन, कन्या, मकर या कुम्भ राशि हो और मान्दि या शनि वहाँ बैठे हों या पंचम को देखते हों। (२) यदि पंचमेश निर्बल हो और लग्नेश तथा सप्तमेश से कोई सम्बन्ध न करे।
