Find the exact Dwadasamsa of the Moon at the time of the Adhana and the Rasi to which it belongs. Count from (Mesha or from) this sign as many Rasis as the number represented by the Dwadasamsa in question. When the Moon is in the Rasi thus found in the month of delivery, the birth of the child in the womb may be expected.

यह गणित कीजिये कि जब गर्भाधान हुआ है उस समय चन्द्रमा किस राशि और किस द्वादशांश में था। मेष से उतने ही द्वादशांश गिनने पर जो राशि आवे वह बालक की जन्म राशि होगी। अथवा मेष से गिनने की बजाय गर्भाधान चन्द्र की राशि से गिनिये और इस गिनती से जो राशि आवे वह बालक की जन्म राशि होगी।
