जो भजन-फल आवे — उसकी जो संख्या हो — उस वर्ष में कष्ट हो; दुःख या रोग हो। इसी प्रकार शनि जिस राशि में हो उससे लग्न तक (शनि वाली राशि और लग्न दोनों शामिल कीजिये) — इन राशियों में जितने शुभ बिन्दु हों उन्हें ७ से गुणा कर २७ से भाग दीजिये; जो भजन-फल आवे — आयु के उस वर्ष में कष्ट, दुःख या रोग होता है। इसी प्रकार (१) लग्न से मंगल वाली राशि तक (२) मंगल से लग्न तक (३) लग्न से राहु वाली राशि तक (४) राहु से लग्न तक — इन सबकी सारी संख्याएँ जोड़कर ७ से गुणा कर २७ से भाग देने से अनिष्ट वर्ष निकल आते हैं।
