If Gulika be posited in the Lagna, the person concerned will be a thief, cruel, devoid of modesty, ignorant of Vedas and Sastras, will not be very stout, will have a deformed eye, will not be very intelligent, nor will have many children. He will eat much, will be devoid of happiness, will be lustful and depraved, will not be long-lived, will not be brave, will be stupid and of an irritable nature.

यदि गुलिक लग्न में हो तो जातक चोर, क्रूर, विनयरहित होता है; अति मोटा नहीं होता; उसके नेत्रों में विकार होता है; पुत्र विशेष नहीं होते और बुद्धि कम होती है। ऐसा व्यक्ति वेद और शास्त्रों का अध्ययन नहीं करता। जातक भोजन अधिक करता है किन्तु दुःखी रहता है और दीर्घायु नहीं होता। ऐसा व्यक्ति क्रोधी, मूर्ख और भीरु प्रकृति का होता है; जातक विषय-वासना में लिप्त, लम्पट स्वभाव का होता है।
