One ought to predict the success or acquisition of a Bhava (1) when the lord of the Lagna during his transit arrives at a sign which happens to be a Trikona sign to the Rasi or Amsa occupied by the lord of the Bhava in question; or (2) when he comes to the Bhava itself; or (3) when the lord of the Bhava transits a sign which is triangular to the sign or Amsa occupied by the lord of the Lagna; or (4) when he comes to the Lagna itself; or (5) when the two lords (i.e., of the Bhava and the Lagna) come in conjunction or aspect each other. The same event may likewise be predicted when the Karaka of the Bhava in question comes during transit in conjunction with the lord of the Rasi containing the Lagna or the Moon.

किसी भाव की प्राप्ति या फल निम्नलिखित कालों में से किसी समय होते हैं — (१) भावेश जिस राशि और अंश में हो उस से त्रिकोण में गोचरवश जब लग्नेश आवे, (२) लग्नेश जिस राशि और अंश में है उसमें या उससे त्रिकोण में जब गोचरवश भावेश आवे, (३) जब लग्नेश और भावेश गोचरवश एक दूसरे को देखें या एक दूसरे से युक्त हो जायें, (४) जब भाव-कारक गोचरवश उस स्थान पर आवे जहाँ जन्म-कुण्डली में लग्नेश वा चन्द्र-राशि का स्वामी हो, (५) जब लग्नेश गोचरवश उस भाव में आवे जिस भाव सम्बन्धी विचार करना हो। चन्द्र-लग्न से भी इसी प्रकार विचार करना चाहिये।
