If a benefic planet occupy the 10th house and the lord of the latter in full strength be in a Kendra or Kona position identical with its Swakshetra or exaltation sign, or if the lord of the Lagna be in the 10th, the person concerned will be revered by all, widely renowned, and disposed to do always virtuous deeds. His affluence will be similar to that of a king and he will be long-lived.

यदि दशम में शुभ-ग्रह हो और दशम का स्वामी बलवान् होकर अपनी राशि में या अपनी राशि में स्थित होकर केन्द्र या त्रिकोण में बैठे या लग्न का स्वामी बलवान् होकर दशम में बैठे तो जातक का राजा के समान भाग्य होता है और वह दीर्घायु भी होता है। उसके यज्ञ का बहुत विस्तार होता है और उसकी प्रवृत्ति भी धर्म-कर्म में होती है।
