If the lord of the 4th house be in a Dusstthana (6th, 8th or 12th) or conjoined with the Sun and Mars, or if the 4th house be occupied by Mars and the Sun, the house where the native was born or conjoined with will be burnt. If Rahu or Saturn be in the 4th with its lord, the house will be old and dilapidated. If the 4th or its lord be occupied by an inimical planet, the native's belongings such as the cows, lands, vehicles, etc., will be usurped by his enemies.

यदि चौथे घर का स्वामी दुःस्थान में हो और सूर्य और मंगल के साथ हो या सूर्य और मंगल चौथे घर में हो तो जातक का जन्म-गृह जल जायेगा। यदि राहु और शनि चतुर्थ घर में हों तो मकान जीर्ण होगा। यदि चौथे घर में शत्रु ग्रह हो तो उस मनुष्य की जमीन, सवारी तथा भूमि को और लोग अपहरण कर लेंगे।
