If at a birth, the lord of the 4th house as well as the Moon occupy a Dusstthana (6th, 8th or 12th) and be devoid of conjunction or aspect of benefics, or be hemmed in between malefics, be also aspected by or conjoined a malefic, the result will be the death of the mother. But, should the above two planets be strong and be associated with or aspected by benefics, and if benefics be posited in the 4th house, the Yoga will conduce to the mother's happiness. The happiness of the mother should be declared by a reference to the benefics occupying favourable places reckoned from the Moon or if they aspect each other or are conjoined.

यदि जन्मकुंडली में चतुर्थेश तथा चन्द्रमा दोनों दुःस्थान में हों और न शुभ ग्रह के साथ हों और न उन पर शुभ ग्रह की दृष्टि हो, बल्कि वे पाप-ग्रहों के बीच में हों और पाप-युत या पाप-दृष्ट हों तो माता की शीघ्र ही मृत्यु हो जाती है। किन्तु यदि सब बातें उपर्युक्त से भिन्न हों अर्थात् चतुर्थेश और चन्द्रमा बलवान् हों, शुभ ग्रहों से युत हों, शुभ ग्रहों से दृष्ट हों और शुभ ग्रह चतुर्थ में हो तो मातृ-सुख होता है। चन्द्रमा से चतुर्थ स्थानों में सौम्य ग्रह हों तो मातृ-सौख्य होता है।
