Whichever Bhava is occupied by the lord of the Lagna, the prosperity or well-being of that Bhava is assured. Note the houses owned by the planet associated with or aspecting the lord of the Lagna. It is only the effects of these Bhavas that will be pushed on by the lord of the Lagna. If the lord of a Bhava occupy a Dusstthana (6th, 8th or 12th) the effect will be reverse; i.e., if the planet be weak, the effect will be immensely harmful; if strong, the injury will be slight.

जिस भाव में लग्नेश बैठा हो उसकी समृद्धि होती है। लग्नेश जिस भाव के स्वामी के साथ बैठा हो उस भाव के स्वामी के फल को बढ़ाता है। ऊपर यह बताया गया है कि लग्नेश जिस स्थान में बैठता है उस स्थान के फल को बढ़ाता है। इसका तात्पर्य यह है कि उस स्थान का शुभफल बढ़ावेगा। यदि किसी भाव का स्वामी दुःस्थान में हो तो इसका उलटा फल होता है। यदि दुःस्थान में पड़ा हुआ ग्रह निर्बल हो तो बहुत अनिष्ट फल करेगा। किन्तु यदि बलवान् हो तो उतना खराब नहीं जावेगा।
