The lords of the 3rd house from the Lagna as well as the Moon, the planet occupying as well as the one aspecting the 8th house, Saturn, the lord of the 22nd decanate, the planet owning the sign occupied by Mandi, the planets owning the Rasis and Amsas occupied by the several aforesaid planets, Rahu when weak by being posited in untoward houses (the 6th, the 8th or the 12th) or in conjunction with or aspected by malefics; each one of these — is declared as causing the destruction of the Bhava in its respective Dasa-period.

निम्नलिखित ग्रह अपनी दशा, अन्तर्दशा में भाव का नाश करते हैं — (१) जन्मलग्न से तीसरे भाव का स्वामी (२) जन्म राशि से तृतीय भवन का स्वामी (३) जो ग्रह अष्टम में बैठा हो (४) जो ग्रह अष्टम को देखता है (५) शनि (६) २२वें द्रेष्काण का स्वामी (७) जिस घर में मान्दि हो उसका स्वामी (८) ऊपर जो सात ग्रह बताये गये हैं वे जिन राशि और अंशों में हों उनके स्वामी (९) दुर्बल राहु यदि वह लग्न से ८वें या १२वें घर में बैठा हो या पाप-ग्रह से युत या दृष्ट हो। इस श्लोक में यह नहीं बताया गया कि किस भाव का नाश करता है। किन्तु पिछले श्लोकों में यह बताया जा चुका है कि पाप-ग्रह जहाँ बैठते हैं, जिसको देखते हैं, जिसके बगल में बैठते हैं उन भावों को नष्ट करते हैं। यही सिद्धान्त इस श्लोक में भी लगाने चाहियें।
