Whatever Bhavas contain a number of benefic dots in the Ashtakavarga of the lord of the Lagna, the effects derived from these houses will be happy if the respective owners thereof are strong and are associated with the lord of the Lagna. Wherever there are a less number of such dots, the lord of the Lagna causes adverse effects if he be associated with the owners of these houses and if they are also weak. In the same way should all the Bhavas be judged.

लग्नेश के अष्टकवर्ग में जिन भावों में शुभ बिन्दु अधिक हों उन भावों के स्वामी यदि बलवान हों और लग्नेश के साथ हों तो उस भाव सम्बन्धी शुभ फल होगा किन्तु लग्नेश के अष्टकवर्ग में जिन भावों में थोड़े शुभ बिन्दु हों उन भावों के स्वामी बलहीन हों और लग्नेश से संयुक्त हों तो उस भाव सम्बन्धी शुभ फल नहीं होगा। इसी प्रकार सब भावों का विचार करना चाहिये। बहुतों के मत से बलवान यथा निर्बल इतना मात्र देखें। अष्टकवर्ग का विचार इस श्लोक के लिये आवश्यक नहीं है।
