If the following three planets, viz., the Moon, the lord of the sign occupied by the same and the lord of the Lagna be all well-placed by being associated with or aspected by good planets and possess many points of strength, that time must be declared as very auspicious and favourable to the native concerned.

जब चन्द्रमा, चन्द्रराशि का स्वामी और लग्नेश ये तीनों गोचरवश बलवान्‌ और शुभ-ग्रहों से दृष्ट हों तो वह समय जातक के लिए बहुत अच्छा अर्थात्‌ शुभ व्यतीत होगा। यहाँ यह भी विचार कर लेना चाहिये कि लग्नेश, चन्द्रमा और चन्द्रराशि के स्वामी जहाँ-जहाँ जन्म कुण्डली में बैठे हैं वहाँ-वहाँ उन पर भी गोचर द्वारा शुभ-दृष्टि पड़ रही है या नहीं। उदाहरण के लिये किसी का सिंह लग्न है और सूर्य वृश्चिक में है तो न केवल गोचरवश सूर्य बलवान होना चाहिये बल्कि जन्म कुण्डली में वृश्चिक में जो सूर्य है उस पर भी गोचरवश गुरु की दृष्टि आदि होनी चाहिये।
