The Moon produces beneficial effects when in the house of a friend of the lord of the Dasa; or in the exaltation house of the latter or in the 7th house, a Trikona house or in any one of the (Upachaya) houses with reference to the (Dasanatha) lord of the Dasa.

चन्द्रमा जब गोचरवश नीचे लिखे किसी स्थान पर होता है तो शुभ फल दिखाता है: (क) दशानाथ के मित्र के घर में; (ख) दशानाथ जिस राशि में होता है उस राशि में; (ग) दशानाथ जिस राशि में है उससे ३, ५, ६, ७, ९, १०, ११वें घर में।
