During the ripening of the Dasa of the lord of the 2nd house, one ought to predict success or acquisition to family, acquisition of good daughters, good meals, earning money by lectures, eloquence in speech and the consequent approbation of the audience in the assembly.

यदि द्वितीयेश बलवान हो तो क्या फल होता है यह बताते हैं। द्वितीयेश की दशा में कुटुम्ब वृद्धि हो; उत्तम बेटियाँ प्राप्त हों। सुखपूर्वक भोजन मिले; वाणी या वाक्-शक्ति के कारण धन उपार्जन करे। अर्थात् ऐसी आजीविका से धन प्राप्त हो जिसमें जातक की वाक्-शक्ति की प्रधानता हो, और जातक जो उत्तम वाणी बोले उसकी सब लोग सभा में प्रशंसा करें। संक्षेप में यह कि द्वितीय स्थान वाणी, धन और कुटुम्ब का है अतः इन तीनों बातों सम्बन्धी सफलता मिले।
