When the Lagna possesses maximum strength, the native will, during the Dasa of the lord of the Lagna, rise to a place of eminence in the world, will be happily placed in life, will be physically strong, will have a brilliant appearance; and his prosperity will be on the increase as his life progresses just as the Moon's digits in the bright half of a month.

यदि लग्न बलवान् हो तो लग्नेश की दशा में जातक का प्रभुत्व जगत् में बढ़ता है, वह सुखपूर्वक रहता है; शरीर बलवान् रहता है (अर्थात् लग्नेश की दशा के समय रोग आदि नहीं होते) और चेहरे पर कान्ति रहती है। चेहरे पर कान्ति होना यह प्रकट करता है कि मन और शरीर दोनों प्रसन्न हैं। जिस प्रकार शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वितीया का चन्द्रमा प्रतिदिन वृद्धि और अभ्युदय को प्राप्त होता है उसी प्रकार बलवान् लग्नेश की दशा में जातक की निरन्तर उन्नति होती रहती है।
