Whatever has been stated in the chapter on Definitions (Adh. I), whatever has been mentioned as belonging to the presiding planets (Adh. II), whatever calling is declared appropriate in the Chapter on profession (Adh. V), whatever diseases have been described as due to the several planets (Adh. XIV), whatever has been spoken of as the effect of the aspect or association with the planets (Adh. XVIII), or of the presence of planets in Bhavas or of the lords of the several Bhavas or the lords being associated with others (Adh. XV, XVI, XVII) — all this must be duly assigned to the planets concerned in their respective Dasas.

ग्रहों की संज्ञा बताते समय जो कुछ प्रथम अध्याय में बताया गया है; कौन सा ग्रह किन-किन वस्तुओं का कारक है इस सम्बन्ध में दूसरे अध्याय में जो कुछ बताया गया है; कौन सा ग्रह क्या कर्म कराता है और किस मार्ग से आजीविका दिलाता है इस सम्बन्ध में पंचम अध्याय में जो कुछ भी कहा गया है; और किस ग्रह से क्या रोग और किस प्रकार की चिन्ता होती है इस सम्बन्ध में जो चौदहवें अध्याय में वर्णन किया गया है; ग्रहों के परस्पर दृष्टि और योग से जो फल होते हैं या किन्हीं दो भावेशों के मिलने से जो योग होता है तथा किसी भाव का स्वामी होने से तथा किसी भाव में बैठने से जो फल होता है — इस सब का विचार करके उस ग्रह की महादशा या अन्तर्दशा का फल कहना चाहिये। यह सब विषय पन्द्रहवें अध्याय से बीसवें अध्याय तक बताये गये हैं।
