If the lord of the 9th house whose Dasa is in progress be weak, the person will have to incur the wrath (severe displeasure) of the deity that had been worshipped formerly and suffer something untoward; there will be trouble to his wife and children; he will do wicked acts; one of his elders and his father may die, and he may suffer from penury. When the lord of the 10th house whose Dasa is in progress is not strong, anything done by the native becomes fruitless; he will further suffer loss of honour, will be wicked in his behaviour, will be absent in foreign places. There will be inauspicious happenings. He will lead a bad life and suffer troubles.

यदि नवमेश दुर्बल हो तो उसकी महादशा में जातक की स्त्री और पुत्र पर आपत्ति आती है। उसको दीनता आ घेरती है। पिता की मृत्यु हो जाती है। उससे दुष्कर्म बन पड़ते हैं। किसी गुरुजन की मृत्यु हो। नवम स्थान धर्म-स्थान है, इस कारण दुर्बल नवमेश की दशा में आपत्ति, विपत्ति, कष्ट आवें तो समझना चाहिये कि पहले जिस किसी देवता की उपासना की गई है उसमें कोई अपराध बन जाने के कारण यह सब अशुभ फल हो रहे हैं। अब दुर्बल दशमेश की महादशा का फल बताते हैं। दशम कर्म-स्थान है; इसका स्वामी निर्बल हो तो उसकी दशा में जो-जो भी कर्म मनुष्य करता है वह सभी निष्फल होते हैं; जातक से निन्दित कार्य बन पड़े; घर से बाहर रहना पड़े इस कारण कष्ट हो; और अशुभ घटनायें हों। संक्षेप में यह है कि जातक का जीवन कष्टमय, मानहीन, निष्फल रहे।
