During the Dasa of the lord of the 7th house who is weak, there will be distress to the native's son-in-law; there will be separation from his beloved. Something untoward will happen to him through the opposite sex. He will have intrigues with wicked women, suffer from diseases in his private parts, and will be wandering. When the Dasa of the lord of the 8th house is in progress (and when he is weak), the person concerned will suffer from excessive sorrow, want of sense, carnal appetite, jealousy, unconsciousness, poverty, fruitless rambling, calumny, sickness, humiliation and death.

यदि सप्तमेश निर्बल हो तो उसकी महादशा में जामाता को कष्ट हो; जातक का अपनी स्त्री से विरह हो और स्त्री के कारण बहुत कष्ट उठाना पड़े; निर्बल सप्तमेश की महादशा में असत्य में रुचि हो, गुप्त रोग हों और निरर्थक भ्रमण करता रहे। यदि अष्टमेश बिगड़ा हुआ हो तो उसकी महादशा में दरिद्रता, कष्ट, भय, भ्रमण, अपयश, व्याधि, अपमान आदि होते हैं — मृत्यु भी हो सकती है। बिगड़े हुए अष्टमेश की महादशा में शोक, मोह, मद, मात्सर्य आदि तथा मूर्च्छा के कारण बहुत अधिक मानसिक सन्ताप रहता है।
