When the rasi representing the 4th bhava is occupied by its lord or is either aspected by or associated with a benefic planet, the person born will be amiable for his learning and humility. The same will be the case when Mercury is the strongest. If the lord of the 4th bhava occupy a dusthana or be associated with or aspected by a malefic planet, the person concerned will be devoid of learning. The same will be the result when the lord of the 4th bhava is in a malefic rasi.
