Add together the figures for the lords of the Lagna and the 7th bhava. Find the Rasi etc. indicated by the result. When Jupiter traverses the Rasi etc. above found, the astrologer may predict a person's marriage. The time of marriage may also be determined in the same way in respect to the total of the figures for the ruler of the stars occupied by the Moon and the lord of the 7th bhava. If the Navamsa occupied by Jupiter belong to a friend, the person concerned will have but one wife. If the amsa in question be Jupiter's own, the number of wives will be 2 or 3. If the amsa be that of Jupiter's exaltation, the person concerned will be the lord of many wives.
