The figures for the rising sign multiplied by 5 and superadded to those for Mandi will give the exact figures of what is called Prana, i.e., life of living beings. The figures for the Moon multiplied by 8 and added to the figures for Mandi get the designation Deha or Body. Seven times the figures for Mandi joined to those of the Sun go by the name of Mrityu or Death. Long lives the person born at a time when the sum total of Jeeva and Deha is in excess of Mrityu or Death.
