रश्मिज्ञानं विना सम्यक् न फलं ज्ञातुमर्हति ।
तस्माद्रश्मीन् प्रसाध्यैव फलं वाच्यं विचक्षणैः

Auspicious and inauspicious effects of all the planets are according to the number of rays they possess. The prediction will not be correct without the knowledge of the effects of the rays. Therefore, it is imperative that in the judgment of birth charts and declaring results, the effects of the number of rays of the planets be taken into account.
