Remedial measures: The person concerned gets release from the curse and is blessed with a son, if he performs the marriage of an unmarried girl (Kanyadana), or if such a girl is not available a gold idol of the Lakshminarayana, fertile cow, a bed, ornaments and garments to a Brahmin couple.
