Procedure for worshipping the planets — Dedicate with devotion to the planet concerned the flowers and garments of the colour belonging to him, sandal, deep (दीप), guggul etc., his metal and the grains dear to him and distribute all these things to Brahmins to appease the planet.

यथावर्णं प्रदेयानि पुष्पाणि वसनानि च । गन्धो दीपो बलिश्चैव धूमो देयश्च गुग्गुलुः ।। १५ ।। सभी ग्रहों की पूजा में ग्रहों के रंग के अनुसार फूल चढ़ाएँ। उसी वर्ण का वस्त्र, फूल, ग्रह धातु के निर्मित आभूषण, गन्ध, दीप, गुग्गुलादि की धूप दें।
