PĀCAKA DAŚĀ IN SANDHYĀ DAŚĀ: By multiplying the Daśā years of Sandhyā Daśā by 6 and dividing the product by 31, the years, months etc. so arrived at may be put in one apartment of a table. Thereafter half of these years, months etc. may be written in the next three apartments. The remaining 8 apartments may be filled in by one third of the aforesaid years, months etc. In this manner Pācaka Daśā in Sandhyā Daśā of every bhāva can be worked out and predictions may be made from it.

परमायु (120 वर्ष) का 12वाँ भाग सन्ध्या होता है; उतने ही वर्षों की लग्नेश आदि की क्रमशः सन्ध्या-दशा होती है। सन्ध्या को 6 से गुणाकर 31 का भाग देने से जो लब्धि हो उसे प्रथम कोष्ठ में रखें; उसके आधे को अगले तीन कोष्ठों में और उसके तिहाई को अगले आठ कोष्ठों में लिखने से 12 भावों की पाचक-दशा होती है।
