The whole of the Daśā of a planet who is related to a friendly and benefic planet at the commencement and the end of the Daśā will be favourable. In an unfavourable Daśā, the Antar-Daśā of a benefic (planet or rāśi) becomes favourable. The Daśā of a planet or rāśi who has benefics in the 5th or the 9th from it is also favourable.
